Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt find l’amour!
I’ll bet Hugh Hefner’s crying into his silk robe right about now. All three of his “girlfriends” have now left him for younger men (and, really, isn’t everyone younger than Hef?) and are all set to lead their own lives away from the mansion.
Kendra Wilkinson is all set to wed football player Hank Baskett. He’s somewhat of an all-American hero, so as a result, Kendra wants to clean up her image to be Mrs. All-American hero. Ergo, no more naked Playboy photoshoots. WHAT?! Say it ain’t so Kendra! No more perky boob shots? No more trimmed bush pics? Sad, but true. She’s even getting her own reality show, thereby officially leaving The Girls Next Door. The new show will chronicle her “new life” outside the mansion and away from Playboy. Sounds pretty lame to me, but like many of you, any excuse to watch this blonde bombshell will always be welcome.
Bridget Marquardt on the other hand, is keeping her new found love pretty close to her siliconed chest. Being the oldest at 35 (that’s 78 in bunny years) must have been difficult for her to see her much younger housemates move on quicker than she. Well, apparently her man has come, in the guise of film maker Nicholas Carpenter whom she met while on the set of her flick The Telling. No engagement or wedding plans are in the works yet, but Bridget seems pretty happy about the relationship so far and so things look pretty good. No word yet from her if she’ll continue to do Playboy after the marriage, but if she does, she’s only got a couple more years before she officially becomes extinct.
It would be interesting to see how things go from here. Will Kendra and Bridget find true happiness? Or will their love lives crumble and they’ll be forced to crawl back into Hef’s bed and magazine where they’ll be spreading their cooch for the pages of Playboy once again? I’m hoping for the latter — not the heartbreak, just the continued nudie shots.
